The newest line of products to hit our site gets us: the Zurn hy-PE-RTube, a Zurn PEX design made in collaboration with DOW, which offers a long-term hydrostatic design built to withstand elevated temperatures (and no cross linking needed)!
Created using DOWLEX 2344 Polyethylene Resin, the hy-PE-RTube is constructed with five pipe layers and can be used in a wide range of radiant applications for residential, commercial, and industrial installations. The hy-PE-RTubing is recyclable and uses less energy during production than most other pipe manufacturing processes. It also reduces pressure loss and deposit formations with the smoothness of its surface. Their brilliant five-layer strength design is built to protect against oxidation caused by permeation.
The hy-PE-RTubing can be used for radiant floor heating systems, radiator connections, baseboard hot water connections, snow melt applications, radiant cooling, agricultural heating, and turf conditioning. These products are only suitable for radiant heating applications and are not to be used for potable water. They come in a variety of lengths and sizes to suit your many application needs; from a 100-foot coil to a 1,000-foot coil, and sizes 3/8” to 1”, there’s bound to be a tubing size perfect for your next project.
