A geothermal HVAC system has an electrically powered heat pump that cycles fluid—most often water or refrigerant—through pipes underground. Rock and soil raise the temperature of the fluid and it’s pumped back to the building where a heat exchanger then transfers the heat from the liquid to the heating system to cycle warm air.

Geo Glide 90 Elbow include ribbed design with a textured surface for gripping, limited 50-year warranty, and a strong resistance to corrosion and abrasion. These are pressure rated at 100 PSI. Their sweep radius reduces potential pressure drops and avoids insulation bunching up. Ground Energy Systems offers this elbow in the following sizes: 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, and 2”.
