Some things just go together: peanut butter and jelly, milk and cookies, 2nd tier soccer teams and human/boiler hybrids that laugh in the face of science and everything it taught us was possible, all these instantly come to mind. So it was only a matter of time until a creature like Boiler Man graced us with his presence. Look at him in all his glory!
Boiler Man
No, this isn’t a case of a radioactive boiler biting a mild mannered technician or even a product of 70’s Marvel like The Wall.
The Wall is too busy with baseball.
Boiler Man is no hero, he’s just a man with a job to do. And that job is to cheer on West Brom as they take on the teams of the Championship (the 2nd tier English league that West Brom now plays in due to being relegated last year.) During the off season the team signed a two year sponsorship deal with the British boiler company, Ideal Boilers. From that transaction Boiler Man was born.
While his initial reception has been less than positive (mostly jokes at poor Boiler Man’s expense), there’s still the majority of a two year deal for Boiler Man to win the hearts and minds of the West Brom faithful.
