Does receiving $1,000 in tuition + $1,500 in RIGID tools sound like a scene from a really good dream? It happened… and to four lucky plumbing-heating and cooling apprentices.
Tool manufacturer RIGID awarded these four scholarships through the Educational Foundation of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors- National Association, according to PM Mag. The scholarship program is designed to attract new talent into the plumbing and HVAC industries- both important for the future of our nation.
“RIDGID is proud to lend our support to apprentices who are getting started in the trades,” said Steve Dyer Sr. , director of brand marketing for RIDGID, in the PM Mag article. “Through these scholarships, we can put professional tools in their hands and get their class costs paid — that’s a huge head start toward a successful career and we’re happy to be able to do it.”
