Yesterday, we at SupplyHouse.com hosted Honeywell’s S.T.E.P.S. to Success Sales Training Program in our recently opened New Jersey location. This program was a great opportunity for us to establish positive relationships with the local contractors and extend our Core Values to new people. While we hosted the event, it was Honeywell’s program that was taught. Reps Joe and Jamie educated the group on the best practices when interacting with customers so both parties get what they want.
So you are probably wondering, what is the S.T.E.P.S. program? Well the name comes from the process they teach,
S – Start the conversation
T – Tell a Story
E – Engage the customer
P – Provide the right solution
S – See it through
Basically it is a methodology that promotes working together with the customer to mutually reach the desired end goal of them getting the right repairs and the contractor being able to do those repairs. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback in regard to the program and its lessons. This daylong seminar was broken up with a catered lunch and a tour of our new warehouse lead by our very own Andy!
