Health and Wellness Month: Israel


For Health and Wellness month, the Israel office took part in some fun activities to reinforce a happy and healthy mindset. As the Jewish holiday of Passover was upon us, we decided to incorporate it into our plans and came up with a very simply but yummy recipe for Dark Chocolate covered Whole-wheat Matza. We melted a lot of dark chocolate and spread it over broken up pieces of matza, adding some crushed up walnuts as toppings, and left them in the fridge overnight. Simple, but delicious!


We also attempted to make Fruity Ice Pops. Consisting of only 100% OJ, strawberries and blueberries, we filled some silicone popsicle makers and waited ‘til they set. A tip for next time would be to dilute the orange juice as it became incredibly concentrated!

For an active challenge to get the blood pumping, we took part in the Office Stairs Challenge! The building we work in has 21 floors, so we tasked ourselves with walking up all of the levels at a healthy pace. It was easier for some that others, but we all successfully completed the challenge.

Another recipe we attempted was to make Cinnamon-Spiced Baked Apples. We followed the instructions, and it’s fair to say the results were mixed.However, it definitely tasted better that it looked!

Finally, for skills shares week, Anita taught us all how to make beaded macramé bracelets. We were all very happy with the end results, and appreciated the class.
